According to a report from AL.com’s John Sharp, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce will not be supporting Alabama U.S. Senate special election Republican nominee Roy Moore in his bid to fill the seat formerly held by Jeff Sessions.
“We have a process for non-incumbent races and plan to follow it in Alabama,” Scott Reed, the senior political strategist with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, said in an email to Sharp. “A candidates’ stated priorities and positions on economic issues have great weight with the U.S.C.C. and the Alabama business community.”
The Chamber had invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in the Republican primary for Moore’s opponent Luther Strange and had a billboard advertising campaign promoting President Donald Trump’s support of Strange in the lead-up to last month’s GOP primary runoff.
The group also has urged Congress and Trump in recent months to “quickly” pass an immigration plan that would reportedly not only allow 800,000 illegal aliens to obtain a pathway to U.S. citizenship but could also trigger a wave of chain migration.

All those creeps value is money. that is the only reason they do what they do.
Two or three years ago my Daughter sent me an Omaha Steaks gift card for Christmas. I selected from the enclosed leaflet which also said I was getting some king of special deal.
My cooler arrived the same day I got a leaflet in the mail from them. I was surprised to see that I had paid twice what the leaflet offered.
No problem I thought as the leaflet said they had a full, unlimited warranty. I phoned them and they refused to do anything. Absolutely stone walled me.
I contacted the BBB in Omaha and it was a joke. After I pointed out that they refused to honor their very plain warranty, they closed it out as settled.
BTW, the steaks were sub par, not as good as I could get at a local supermarket and far, far more expensive. The steaks were also small, very small. I did like the hamburger patties and potatoes but overall I consider it a scam and the BBB will not do anything for the customer except give you a claim number then side with a business which is clearly lying.
The rats took it over many cycles ago. F*ck them.
Judge Moore will win in a landslide without them.

US Chamber of Commerce . . . chalk up another self-serving anti-American organization exposed. Any businesses in Alabama that are members of this organization should withdraw their membership. Exactly what benefit is there anyway.

The problem is that when faced with what is better for the profit margin, or America, they flip the finger to America, and then give us the solemn lecture that whatever is good for business is automatically always good for America, 100%.
But that isn’t always true. It’s fantastic for business to flood 20 million Mexicans in for cheap labor with limited rights...easily controlled. The meat processing and chicken plants love floods of moslem workers to flood in. Good for profit margins, bad for our once peaceful communities. NAFTA trucks crossing borders uninspected is good for business...and cartels.
Unsafe Mexican trucks and drivers go all over America, good for business, bad for us.
That’s the problem, putting business before our republic, and insisting anything that bumps the profit margin is automatically good for America, when it isn’t.
Mainly, they’re addicted to cheap, illegal labor. I guess they live in gated communities and their kids go to fancy private schools.
