Actually, the dying woman was Sgt. Evelyn Moore, who passed away at age 90 on Juky 26, 2014.
She was known as Sgt. Mom. USMC 1950-1955.

Story of her life on this page.
Michelle Klimarchuk was a younger woman who helped Sgt. Moore by arranging for the Gunny to be with her.
The Gunny said that he would be a rifleman at her funeral, to which the dying woman said “Yesss!” and that was her final word.

Don’t tear up often, but this one’s touching.
A woman worth more than 10,000 kneelers.
