what's burning is not brush, and houses too close together? There are wide well maintained firebreaks which have been used to contain the fires? Well all righty then. If this ended days ago (which is what happens with proper resource management ) then why is this thread still going on?
Seriously?? What happened had nothing to do with managing its resourcesobviously you have not been paying attention..

Do you think they built Arby’s, McDonald’s, K-Mart, the Hilton, the Sonoma Hotel too close together and on brush? Do you think Vineyards are built too close together and on brush? Many subdivisions throughout the country have homes that are built close together—typically subdivision yards don’t have lots of dry brush—they have lawns, swing sets, pools, and flowers.
With all due respect, you may have seen that this tragic event is still on going, but I don’t think you have really been paying attention to what is truly going on...
Most fires MAY have ended days ago with proper resource management, but this is not most fires...Theses fires started simultaneously in middle of night in multiple locations with 70 MPH winds...and some in the flat residential areas in the valley...actually many questions are swirling about exactly how this fire started.
I think it is way too soon to start assigning blame...Better response is to support those who have lost friends, family, and property in any way they can—thoughts and prayers, a donation, or just a kind word of empathy.
