The last thing you ever want is to have Congress making tax policy for certain expenses based on political considerations of the business in question. If Congress ever passed a law that made entertainment expenses tax deductible for one sports league but not another one, then they ought to disband Congress entirely.

They have already made 50% f meals non-deductible. Business just moved ticket purchase from entertainment to advertising and promotion.
