I like the cut of Bannon's gib.

Aye, Matey!  Lieutenant Bannon's jib sail snaps smartly in the stiff breeze.  His boat cut into the waves so sharply, the barnacles are scraped off.

There's parallel between a sail's battens -- long strips of wood inserted in the sail to better shape it -- and "bannons" inserted into the MAGA sails to give it that extra pull!
