For totalitarians to gain control of the people they must do two things first: (1) Take over the media; and (2)disarm the people. They all now this, and they all subscribe to it.
In the U.S. they are close to realizing the first element, and are thoroughly committed to achieving the second. This will result in a civil war, without any doubt.
