One was a 14-year-old boy found dead in the driveway of his Redwood Valley home, where his parents were badly burned and his 17-year-old sister so badly hurt she had both her legs amputated.
Some were found dead in cars and trucks as they tried to flee the firestorms, or inside homes where they apparently were trapped. Still others were discovered as piles of ash and bones, as though they already had passed through a cremation chamber.
By Thursday, officials throughout Northern California had begun cataloging the death toll of the huge fires that broke out Sunday night and plowed through cities, small mountain valleys and forests, killing at least 31 people. Sonoma County Sheriff Robert Giordano said Thursday night that two more people have been confirmed dead there.
The Oakland Hills fire of 1991 killed 25 people by itself, and the Griffith Park fire in Los Angeles in 1933 killed 29. While no single fire currently burning has killed as many as those, state fire Deputy Director Daniel Berlant says collectively this is the deadliest series of simultaneous fires in the state in recorded history. Officials said they expected to find more bodies in the coming days.

HIt that linky and it will show you a view of the homes. One can check on the status of their home in Santa Rosa. Weird...entire neighborhoods gone with sometimes a single home still standing. THis will give Freepers an idea of the total devsastation from these fires...
If all else fails, blame the electric utility company and global warming.
Anything to point fingers away from poor natural resource management
Here’s some drone footage of a neighborhood

Isis has called for wildfire arson attacks on more than one occasion. They used these wildfires as a weapon in Israel in 2016.
I hope they are investigating to see if these wildfires are caused by terrorist,Middle easterners or American environmental wackos.
Good luck with Moonbeam, in doing any sort of investigation.
Puerto Rico needs to shut the heck up. They’ve used up their 15 minutes whining and doing nothing but stealing supplies.
CA will never find many of those missing if they’re nothing but a pile of ashes. So many pets and wildlife, too.
How can those people have not seen fit to have gotten out before their driveway was engulfed? Couldn’t they smell the smoke? Weren’t they paying attention to the flames? Were they simply not monitoring by cell phone? Didn’t they notice their neighbors leaving or did they think, like that other couple, that someone will show up and take care of the situation for them? Wonder what, if any, preparations they’d made around the yard and house. Surely, they didn’t just go to bed without any concern. Poor children. Poor parents.
can’t they be both?....................

The average age of the dead right now is 79.
California did not issue an alert. And the elderly are very susceptible to smoke inhalation.
Would not surprise me a bit if these were arson terror muslim attacks............
Don't know where this was taken but if it's anywhere near the house then that's just kindling.

They caught one guy setting a fire to a school. Not one word as to his name, age or anything. They didn’t say he was a minor or a student there. So, that makes you think they’re intentionally protecting the protected group.
Suspicious minds want to know........................
Arson? ARSON? Oh C’mon! Only whacked out conspiracy theorists believe in arson.
And Imran Awan is a Saint and John McCain a hero.
“Hm. So can PG&E be sued so the ratepayers can pick up the tab ?”
Think criminal charges. They diverted 80 mil. of state mandated tree cutting funds to their pockets.
But then again it’s a corrupt state so probably no criminal charges.
thanks
No kidding, it crossed a six lane highway. My wife is from there and I’ve been on that highway, it must be a couple hundred feet wide.
Santa Rosa is a great little city, sad to see what has happened to it.
Clearance helps but they had high winds with blowing embers. Nothing is safe from that. High winds cause blowing embers to start spot fires well ahead of the fire itself.
