Normally a 3.0 earthquake is no big deal...unless you are on the 2nd floor of the house.

At 4am a 3.0 will wake you up.

Only posting due to the extraordinary fires in our area and thought "Great. An earthquake would be probably be perfect right about now".

When we lived in CA, it seemed as tho’ we often got them in the middle of the night. You never knew if you’d dreamed it or if it was real until you got up and stood in the hall (2nd floor) and watched the walls sway. If it happened when you were downstairs during the day, you’d watch hanging lights over the kitchen table swing back and forth.
Those were the kind to have - not the kind when everything came tumbling down around your ears.

I can understand your concern from your location.. I expect Yellowstone to erupt any day too - everything else has already taken place.
