Time to call out a few, given that Reuters is making excuses (big shock).
I'll start with the heroes. Among them was the unarmed hotel security guy who attempted to interdict the shooter but could not get through the door because the shooter had driven screws into the frame. He took a round to the leg when the shooter blindly emptied a mag through the door of the suite but he'll be ok.
Next up is the ex-service member who stole a truck and used it to transport injured people out of the kill zone. If they prosecute that guy, and you know they're thinking about it, everyone involved in attempting to do so needs to hang from a public gallows in the middle of the Las Vegas strip. ...
Not far behind that guy are the multiple reports of others, some active duty service members on leave, some off-duty officers and others who are just ordinary people, who ...
There are undoubtedly many more than can be readily identified who took similar actions.
They're heroes. All of them.
Now let's talk about the zeros and be prepared to get pissed off.

Stages are inherently the most exposed part of a concert venue, with lights all pointing to the entertainers gathered in one well-defined area. For all he knew, he was the target. Why wouldn’t he do what any normal human being would do?

A person wanting a room overlooking a concert could just as easily been someone who wanted to hear the music without being down in the crowd. Not really all that odd.
Whether or not the shooter was still shooting, the SWAT team still had to clear the floor in case there was an ambush waiting for them in some of the rooms.
As far as police shooting up into a 32nd floor window, bullets shot up into the air tend to come down if they don’t get embedded in something first. Or ricochet. Then people they’re trying to save get hurt or killed by police bullets.
Aldean is a creep, before and after Las Vegas.
There are many disputed “facts” in this OP. Campos may or may not be the hero of the day. Time will tell and there will be a new timeline released today.
Clearly you have some sort of personal vendetta against Aldean. I notice you don’t accuse the thousands of spectators that ran of being cowards. Or, the other members of his group. Let us know how Aldean offended you.

It means that he’s a putz. Even after he was offstage he could have warned the fans. It’s just funny to see a radio Rambo run even as most of the great unwashed waited, huddled like helpless children at his venue. Badass bro country? Not.
