MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Cygnal polling, a Montgomery based polling firm, has released the results of a new poll that puts GOP candidate Roy Moore ahead of Democrat Doug Jones by 8 points, with 9% of respondents undecided. The poll also found higher interest levels than from either of the previous two rounds of primary voting. More than 90% of respondents said they were “definitely likely” to show up to vote, which is 5-7% higher than surveys from the first round of primary voting and the GOP runoff.

Cygnal President Brent Buchanan said in a news release, “This race between Moore and Jones looks a lot like the Moore-Strange competition of the past few months. At this point, the data shows the result will be the same for Judge Moore come December.”

If you beat AN INCUMBENT in a primary, you’re doing pretty darn good right off the bat.

Ignore the swamp dwellers who say losing an incumbent in the primary means you risk losing the seat to the dems.

....”definitely likely” to vote? It would take a polling company, probably a leftist one, to come up with a oxymoronic term like that, LOL.

I love it....but, we can never let up...we should strive to destroy the Democrat candidate by at least fifteen points or more. Think of Hillary Clinton and Harvey Weinstein locked in each other’s arm, sleeping in the White House!!! That should make you rush out the door to vote for Judge Roy Moore in an instant!!!

Oh, ok. I am definitely likely to possibly consider showing up to vote... What a stupid poll.

SorozNazi and DNC can pour tens of millions of dineros in there, also send tens of thousands of illegal voters into the state plus thousands of vans offering rides and free gifts for people to vote in the 110% D-controlled areas of Atlanta, etc

this is winnable but it isn’t gonna be easy!

Why only eight points? Come on Alabama you can do better than that.

One has to wonder about the GOPe. “National Review” just published a smear piece on Roy Moore used by them in the primary season.

Roy Moore’s son was arrested on an 11 month old trespassing charge this week as well from what I assume to be the office of a Republican prosecutor in rural Alabama (It’s Moore’s home county-Etowah).

His worst enemies may have the R next to their name.

Democrats haven’t won a U.S. Senate election in Alabama since 1992,
when Richard Shelby was elected to a second term. Two years later,
Shelby switched to the Republican Party.

I would imagine that in AL in addition to central Birmingham, there are Democrats hiding under rocks and crevices waiting to re-form their old majorities.

This is a race in Alabama. Are you talking Montgomery instead of Atlanta?

All points should be taken with a grain of salt. Almost every poll had the Wicked Witch ahead last year. With that said, we are talking about Alabama and so Moore should be a Senator before the end of the year.

Some of these polls are way off. After all, if one went by the Clinton-Trump polls, we would have a different president (can't say her name).

A 55% to 45% win is not a bad win.

I imagine the dimwit Democrat will use the NFL to attack Judge Moore. After all to them, football is MUCH, MUCH MORE important than respect for country, veterans, and our flag...

You get the color of my drift...
