Bossier Sheriff Refuses to Support Those Who Show Disrespect
Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington sends a letter to a Ford Motor Company dealer - NO MORE FORD MOTOR COMPANY VEHICLES.
Sheriff Whittington calls on other law enforcement agencies and leaders to take a stand against Ford Motor Co. and the disrespectful National Football League. Sheriff Whittington -
"The recent events surrounding the NFL, its players and their audacity to thumb their collective noses at the American flag, the American military as well as the obvious disdain for the profession of law enforcement in general forces me to take a stand."
"NFL players have the right to protest as they deem necessary, but we, the Bossier Sheriff's Office and the taxpayers of Bossier Parish have a right to spend our money elsewhere."

Cable/satellite tv should be on everyones chopping block ASAP!
Now this is a True Patriot !
Godspeed Sheriff.

Not that the 1st Amendment applies to them in their kneeling or nose-thumbing, nor to their many defenders.
It's very obvious that even so-called educators are dumb as rocks when it comes to Civics!!
The 1st Amendment applies to us and the government, not to an employee and their employer but then even their employers seem to have gotten lost in the woods somewhere but I digress.
Their so-called "right" doesn't force their audiences (the American football fans) to buy tickets, watch on TV nor to purchase products advertised during their games.
It (the 1st Amendment) also doesn't prevent us, their fans, from booing them when they stroll on the field, when their names are announced or when they kneel, scratch, stretch or whatever stupid, petulant, infantile antics.
We can and should (if we are attending any game) make our collective voices heard - loudly as possible what un-American, ungrateful thugs we think they are in whatever manner we choose!!
At my last game, the public announcer said that we should "report anyone behaving in an unsportsman like, rude, obscene or threatening conduct."
My comments to their head office is: does your announcement cover players on the field as well as fans?"
Of course, they've yet to respond.
I hope you don’t buy GM, either. And Chrysler is now foreign owned. Toyota is about the only acceptable American built car left.
GEAUX, SHERIFF!!!
..............I was “thinking” about an F 150 in my future................but I agree with the Sheriff. After seeing the Seahawks burn old glory in their locker room, I am totally off the NFL forever............
That Seahawks flag burning image was photo shopped. Another thread here on FR showed the actual image.
I’d say more like American assembled.
Profits still go to Toyota in Japan.
It’s cheaper for Toyota to assemble
their autos here than to pay the
tariffs associated with completely
assembled autos being shipped here.
While they do employ a lot of people
here, many of their parts are still
made in Japan. Parts and warranty is
where the money is....
I chose Toyota because money
spent with them does not end up in the UAW.
Thank you...
We really like our Cruze. It was used, but sweet to drive.
IMHO Chevy builds a much better small truck than Ford and I currently own both companies vehicles. Way less finicky stuff on the Chevy’s. One of my friends had his Ford F-150 burn his house down.
Is his 150 available for other jobs?
Rear ending the rare Pintos still on the road.
..............I haven’t seen it.
............I was a Chevy man through scores of trucks over the past 40 odd years but quit them for Toyota when Obama converted GM to “the peoples” car builder aka “Government Motors”....
