Listening to the police band recordings they did not know the fire was coming from Mandalay Bay 32nd floor until 2217...12 minutes after the fire erupted over the crowd. And after the shooter stopped.

I cannot even imagine that the Mandalay Bay would not contact LE immediately about active shooter...of any sort. That makes no sense. I have heard they do have a lot of armed security (which makes sense, I couldn't believe they would have any that were not armed) but no reports their armed security tried to engage shooter either.
