President Trump via Twittter ^ | 10/11/17 | Donald J. Trump

Stock Market has increased by 5.2 Trillion dollars since the election on November 8th, a 25% increase. Lowest unemployment in 16 years and if Congress gives us the massive tax cuts (and reform) I am asking for, those numbers will grow by leaps and bounds.  Make America Great Again.

It would be really nice if the Fake News Media would report the virtually unprecedented Stock Market growth since the election.Need tax cuts.  The Democrats want MASSIVE tax increases & soft, crime producing borders. The Republicans want the biggest tax cut in history & the WALL!

It is about time that Roger Goodell of the NFL is finally demanding that all players STAND for our great National Anthem-RESPECT OUR COUNTRY

It really has been a remarkable rise. I remember election night when Dow futures fell hundreds of points and “experts” like Paul Krugman said the market would never recover. And then the next day people suddenly realized “Hey, Trump as President is actually a good thing”.

Remember Obama told us, not to pay attention to “the daily gyrations” of the stock market?

The reason the media don’t report this, is because people might think that somehow the policies of this president are causing this.

Economic bad news during the Obama years were downplayed, and blamed on anything but the polices of Obama. I remember one time, the media blamed a bad economic report on a snowstorm in the northeast; that the snow put a damper on economic activity. There was always some excuse besides the policies of Obama, which caused problems.

It was like the eighty straight years of bad weather causing crop failures in the Soviet Union.

This is the nominal value of all the stock that exists.

But most stock is not traded, but permanently held by large institutions. They cannot sell at the ‘market price’ because potential buyers do not have enough net liquidity. So is their stock really ‘worth’ ‘the market price’? Only if nobody sells!

“It was like the eighty straight years of bad weather causing crop failures in the Soviet Union”.

That’s right. And Obama had 8 “summers of recovery” that didn’t ever happen, either.

That is a very good point. I've been purchasing stock since the early 1980s, either directly or through my 401(k). I've never actually sold any of that stock. I just dump the money in and let it ride. On paper, I could say I'm a millionaire but it doesn't feel that way because it's all just out of reach. Much of it I can't even touch until I'm 59 1/2 (401k) without incurring steep penalties.

So I live within my means and hope that some of it is still there when I'm older! So far, so good since Trump got into office.

This what a president looks like!

Yeay America - so many unmaskings so many awakings.

Obama fades into the Carter bin of presidential history muttering "You didn't make that".

With what president Trump has put up with its truly spectacular.

I think the Senators are looking at president Trump victory over the NFL and realizing he can kill with a word/tweet - at least the smart ones have.

Bannon is out so/ewing the fields and the president I believe can double turn out to primaries which removes lots of the money advantage incumbents have.

The rest of the people in the party have come around and president Trump is about ready to poll over 50 in probably bogus polls.

President Trump is the head of the Tea Party and the Republican Party and he loves the rally. If you are Senator FuddyDuddy, do you want this heat. Well it don't matter because its coming, and no one in the Senate is safe democrat or supposed conservative republican.

Either rubberstamp the agenda president Trump campaigned on (The America peoples agenda) or you are gone next time you come up for relection.

And if you think 2018 is going to be tough for incumbents 2020 will be another purging of traitors.e

Collins will announce she isn't going to run for Senate. The thinking is it will go democrat. The problem with that type of thinking is it is wedded to an outdated view of how partisan politics works after what I call the realignment.

The limited Trump application of the the MAGA agenda is starting to work before long folks are going to start wondering why did we listen to the Red Team Blue team liars for so long? (Oh yeah Environment Abortion Guns, Gay Marriage, Wedge Issue, Another Wedge Issue) - where did that get us?

Even supposedly conservative Mike Leech needs to go. These people have aided and abetted so much and sided with the globalist donors over the people. Senators suck as bad as NFL players/owners. We are starting over Senators.

We are purging the stupid party and are going to take out some democrats too.

Price is not set by people who will not sell nor by people who will not buy. At any given time the price is set by the most willing seller and the most willing buyer.

But you could tell your 401K admin to sell your stock funds and put the money into a money market fund, securing the full market value of your stocks in cash - if you wished to do so.

You could also take money out before age 59 1/2 through a 72t plan.

I do not personally recommend either option.
