"permanent peace" Is that the 21st century equivalent of "peace in our time"?

Go for it, Jimmy.
The problem with the idea though is that the whole Kim-god thing falls apart without the constant state of war in North Korea. You going over and let’s say you give in to virtually every demand of North Korea - that’s it, game over for North Korea; the peninsula would be one country within 10 years.
But I’m always entertained by liberals falling flat, so please, show us how it’s done.

I say send Jimma over there, and THEN start the war! It’s just a suggestion...take it or leave it.

I would point out that only the dead have a chance for “permanent peace”.

“Eh. Probably wouldnt hurt. Why not?”
Perhaps you missed some of your High School history lessons. Back in the ‘90’s Bubba Clinton was too busy to deal with North Korea and the problems they were causing. Jammah Cahtah stepped in, saying he would volunteer to lead some talks to defuse the situation
The way it ended was Jammah offered/and the Norks agreed to receive (at U.S. cost) a light water reactor to provide electricity for the people. Sounds great, huh? Jammah beamed as Jammah does.
With the help of the Pakistani’s, the reactor was turned into a heavy water reactor useful for only one thing — making nukes!
Net, the person to thank for the situation we now have is Jammah who now wants to come in and unscrew the situation which he screwed up in the first place.
I say, feed him to the Zimbabweans!
