Unless Jerry Jones said that ONLY black players would be benched the policy is not racist. Trump did not say that only blacks who refuse to stand were SOBs. Again NOT racist. Like many blacks Jemele and the author have trouble understanding the concept that behavior has consequences.

This too funny! Somehow this “black writer” confuses the First Amendment with screwing your employer. Sure, she had the right to say what she did, and her employer was equally with in his rights to discipline her. Jemele just found out that “free speech” isn’t always “free from retribution!”

America has again normalized the logical status quo of requiring employees to obtain approval from their employers to exercise the First Amendment while they are working.

Apparently the Left now believes that black people have the unique right to First Amendment free expression at work.

We all know how successful that has become.

I heard a good explanation along those lines, too.
Anyone who advertises with the Cowboys probably advertises on ESPN, too. Her boycott call thus threatened her employer’s revenue, hence the punishment for this ... but not for calling half of American white supremacists, since similar insults were lobbed by other sports personalities and mainstream media in general.

I have never watched espn but I do really get irritated by and tired of “commentators” anywhere mouthing off about political issues. I laugh at this loser.
