Just think, what the left has done to the NFL is what Hillary almost got to do to the whole country.

Hi Jerry,

Just to make things a little clearer for you...

This is capitulation, condescendion and cowardice... <{>

This is bravery, patriotism and sacrifice...And you and your players just spit all over it!

Want my respect and my money...FU!

I told people that the issue was not Constitutional free speech rights, but an employers right to control what happens in the environment under their control and on their dime. Controlling that is NOT any disrespect for “free speech” because the free speech rights are about GOVERNMENT not infringing on those rights, and it does not take away from an employers right to control their environment. The free speech right is no mandate that anyone else has to supply you either the megaphone or the venue to express your view.

Yes, the NFL protesters have free speech rights. Those rights do not mandate their employers provide the megaphone (TV cameras) or the venue.

Just remind people how much Google and Facebook censor “free speech” every day and ask them what happened to the free speech rights of those who were censored. When they cannot figure it out, remind them Google owns what is seen via Google and Facebook owns what is seen via Facebook - just like the NFL, it’s teams and their owners OWN what is seen on the NFL games shown on TV.

The NFL does not want white Americans participating. That’s fine by this white American; I have other things to do bedsides watch some black racist millionaire playing a game tell me he is oppressed.

It wouldn’t make much difference to me because they have already exposed what is in their hearts. You cannot unplay that song.

I understand that they’ve exposed what’s in their hearts. I have no sympathy for the NFL leadership, some coaches, and the obviously unamerican players.

I’m more thinking about those who were dragged along for the ride, who don’t support the lefty lunacy.

No way back for those coaches or players? New league?

Jones is a typical, elitist, two-faced coward. He kneeled before the National Anthem, but stood during it.

To paraphrase John Chi Kerry, he disrespected the flag before he respected it.

I agree. Have been enjoying local high school games, as well as college ball.

Just wish the NFL hadn’t self destructed.

I would forgive the nfl if:
1 the league requires everyone to stand and salute the flag during the anthem;
2 the NFL gives 1 million to a charity benefiting the widows and children of police killed in the line of duty;
3 the NFL requires each team to contribute $500,000 to that charity.

The problem they have is they claim it’s not disrespecting the flag. The vast majority of people believe it is. They claim they have their first amendment rights to their protest, but we don’t have ours to walk away from them. The left presented the NFL with a problem. Their players were going to walk away if they didn’t let them. But, then their fans did, so they got to it and said “Ooops. You actually do have to stand.” Too late Roger.
