It’s been over a week now and we really don’t know any more as to “what really happened”. That in itself is odd.

what's odd about that?

it's been over 20 years and we still don't know what happened to TWA Flight 800 except that it was the only Boeing 747-100 ever to explode from a spark in a fuel tank. Especially after having missiles fired at it.
