In a significant timeline change, Sheriff Lombardo reveals Mandalay Bay security guard, Jesus Campos, was shot BEFORE the Las Vegas attack started.
“Las Vegas sheriff says Mandalay Bay security guard was shot 6 minutes before first shots were fired at crowd.,” reports ABC News.

Paddock shot the unarmed Campos in the leg as he was moving toward the room outside in the hallway, The Daily Beast reported being told by Dave Hickey, president of the International Union, Security, Police and Fire Professionals of America.
Campos had taken an elevator to the 32nd floor of the hotel because the stairway door had been blocked, The Daily Beast said, and when Campos got to the door where he suspected Paddock was barricaded, he was met with gunfire through the door.
The wounded Campos then radioed casino dispatch informing them of his and Paddock’s location in the hotel. Police said the suspect fired some 200 rounds at them as they approached the room, The Daily Beast noted.

Definitely believe Campos threw his schedule off and he knew he had to pull off his siege “now”.
Think about wedding parties, Spring break, conventions. Those people wander to different rooms so the group leaves their door open or propped open.

Las Vegas Police Revise Massacre Timeline, but Hotel Is Raising a Red Flag

Those investigating the Las Vegas massacre are now questioning whether the shooter could have been taken down faster.
A spokesperson for Mandalay Bay said the new timeline may not be accurate.
“We cannot be certain about the most recent timeline,” said Debra DeShong, a spokeswoman for MGM Resorts International. “We believe what is currently being expressed may not be accurate.”
“This changes everything,” said Joseph Giacalone, a professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a former New York City police sergeant. “There absolutely was an opportunity in that timeframe that some of this could’ve been mitigated.”
Undersheriff Kevin McMahill said the guard who was shot was responding to a door alarm on the hotel’s 32nd floor when he heard an odd drilling sound.
Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo told reporters Paddock had power tools and was trying to drill a hole in a wall either to mount security camera around him or point a rifle through it.
The Mandalay guard notified maintenance and security of the stairwell issue. Several single shots were fired into the hallway before Paddock shot again, unloading more than 200 rounds at the guard and a maintenance man, McMahill said.

Glass didn’t hit the ground. It landed on a lower roof, possibly the roof of the main casino, 2...3..4 floors above ground.

Here’s how I know what the sheriff said. What NBC said the sheriff said. What Jones said NBC said the sheriff said. I’ve watched the sheriff’s press conferences, 30-40 minutes each. I’ve listened to the scanner recording, about 80 minutes, twice. I read the net version of one news show or paper each day. I’ve looked,at a couple-three (bazillion) whacko Youtube vids. (The first coupla minutes anyway.)
It’s pretty simple. If you really want to know, go to the source. If you don’t...well... maybe you could, I dunno...ask something that’s already been very well established, then come up with a whack video or theory that puts Youtube to shame. But see, if you do educate yourself, THEN you coukd maybe help us out cuz there are some REAL STICKY QUESTIONS UNANSWERED HERE.
