Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones has had it with anthem protests. Just how tired of it is he? Tired enough that Jones has now publicly said that if his team doesn’t respect the flag, they’re not going to play.
Jones was asked by Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News, about two Cowboys players who raised their fists at the end of the anthem. Jones said he did not see the raised fists. But then, Jones made a definitive statement about how he wants to see his team to handle the anthem from now on.
According to Pro Football Talk, Jones said, “If there’s anything that is disrespectful to the flag, then we will not play. OK? Understand? If we are disrespecting the flag, then we won’t play. Period. Period.”

I think the idea behind Jones taking a knee on the Monday night game was to get closure on all of this. No one listened and it still goes on.
I don’t think Jones understands that if he sits the players who don’t stand, they still get their money. He has to cut them. That’s the only thing players understand.
We watch they do, ignore what they say.

Native daughter of Texas and long time Cowboys fan. This is too little, too late. Start releasing these thugs that show disrespect to the flag of the country allowing them to make millions playing a child’s game. Maybe then I will contemplate watching again.

Jerry Jones the liberal is disrespecting the flag, Americans, and whites by supporting the black anti-American racists kneegros.
Had the Cowboys won yesterday, he never would have brought the subject up. He did it to change the narrative, to talk about the flag, rather than the fact that the Cowboys are 2-3, and could be 4-6 or worse after the next 5 games.
This, after going 13-3 the year before.
So he drew the clear line in the sand. Now let’s see if he is honest.
He needs to stop the black power salute after the anthem by his players. I don’t need the salute...I can already tell they are black. One was quoted saying it was for his morals...uh, same one that was recently suspended for drug abuse.
Spent last Friday night in the press box at a local high school game. EVERYBODY in box stood and saluted the flag.
All of the fans stood. All of the players stood except for two players on other team.
Those two young men had a rough night.
