It looks like the feds got rid of Sheriff Lombardo for blabbering too much truth the other day.
Pretty much. Vegas was where the killer hung out. Also, you had a lot of public entertainment there to serve as targets. He certainly got a high body count there. And doesn't the Vegas name have a lot of associations in the public mind that many other cities don't?

actually, what it sounded to me is that there is a weapon discharging from afar, and bullets striking the ground nearby. however, it did not sound to me as if there were conclusively two distinct weapons involved since a bullet from one weapon could in theory produce a sound upon exiting the barrel at the source, and then that same bullet could strike an object and produce a second sound. of course it could be two rifles but logically from the above (i claim no expertise, just trying to follow along here) it does not rule out a single rifle scenario. ok, what am i missing...

There is a peculiar reluctance to deal with the theological assertions that gets claimed to offer justification for abhorent terrorist activity by not only those in so called “goverment establishment” but also those in leadership of the Roman church. Letting it stand furthurs such activity.
That was my take early on from the sheer amount of guns. He was used to dealing with lots of them. He was also a gambler and a loser. If he was a winner he would not have gotten the red carpet at the casinos. He would have been banned instead. If you are taking in millions and need to make enough look legit to explain your houses and your lifestyle, dropping a few million into the casinos is a good way to do it. Spending a lot of time in casinos lets you put whatever number you want on your IRS form in April.
After F&F it is apparent that something like Paddock as a false flag op is easily believed to be possible. If that is what occurred, Paddock surely thought he would get away. I think that security guard needs to be traced out carefully.
That would not have been a commercial arrangement in the hotel. Dealing arms would just be how he came by the money that his lifestyle required. It could have been drugs or prostitution or something else. Drugs and prostitution would probably produce participants or victims to accuse and claim. Arms dealing would not. He was obviously familiar with guns. It is an easy step to think that was his racket.
The “profession” of gambler had to be a fake. The casinos wined him and dined him and gave him freebies they only give to big repetitive losers. Consistent winners get limited or banned from the premises.
Arms dealing and working something for ISIS are quite compatible. I don’t say it happened that way but I would not discount it either.
Antifa and ISIS are natural allies within the USA and in Europe, too. Communists ally with whoever can help them make a Revolution then kill off the allies when the job is done.

I have no problem with the theory that he was a gun dealer. I was just addressing the theory that what happen was a gun deal gone bad to explain the number of guns in the room. I’ve seen it proposed on here.

Right. A dealer would not be dealing guns like that. He might have a few samples and the deal would perhaps be made in such a place but the piles of ammo and the large number of guns present would suggest strongly that was not the case there. I find interesting the idea that he was set up to do what he did by people with whom he had been dealing and thought there was an organized exit. It may well be that he did not kill himself but that a supposed client or agent killed him, perhaps the security guard.
He could have been dead before the shooting started, his girl friend sed he would lay in bed screaming and making comments maybe he knew his time was coming and he had to pay the price and was used as the perpetrator for all time.

The Luxor and Mandalay Bay are actually connected. Wendy Miller is the 2nd person at The Luxor Hotel to have witnessed the pursuit of ‘the security guard.’
