Hey there, Kathy.
Yes, it could be interesting the next 24 hours or so. Not sure what to expect when Nate reaches us. I hope for a good “light show” or two out of the deal. LOL
Have y’all gotten more rain this weekend?

No more rain. And I am off to soak before I fall asleep.
I might check in before finding my bed.

Yes, I saw it was really close to the cam housing earlier. I wondered how much higher it would get but it dropped while I was in the shower. There’s still a lot of water on the road but the bases of the streetlights are visible again.
We don’t expect any flooding here but who knows? Just have to wait and see ..... and hope.
Good night and sleep well. Have a nice Sunday!

Bummer there wasn’t more rain. :-(
Enjoy the soak. I just got through taking a hot shower myself and that cut out a little of the achiness.
Sleep well when you hit the pillows.

All is well here....just too darn early for this Night Owl.
Hope you and Bo had fun yesterday! Did he find any turtles, gophers or moles?

No, but we enjoyed a good walk with the nice weather. We’ll see how things go today.

Amazing Grace (Click)
By John Newton
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found; Was blind, but now I see.
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, And grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed!
Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come; Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home.
The Lord has promised good to me, His Word my hope secures; He will my Shield and Portion be, As long as life endures.
Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail, And mortal life shall cease, I shall possess, within the veil, A life of joy and peace.
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow, The sun forbear to shine; But God, Who called me here below, Will be forever mine.
When weve been there ten thousand years, Bright shining as the sun, Weve no less days to sing Gods praise Than when wed first begun.

DEAR LORD, who suffered torment, agony, and death upon the Cross to free our souls from the chains of iniquity, protect and defend our troops. Guide them in the performance of their duties. Strengthen them to endure hardship, danger and deprivation in Your service. Let their efforts free the people of Iraq and Afghanistan from the chains of terror and slavery, foster a lasting peace in the region, and bring all to a greater share in Your Mercy. Amen.
