$4 billion for a friggin’ bridge. It ought to be gilded from top to bottom. The NY taxpayers (as usual) got hosed.
Like your average garbage man. This isn’t even in NYC, it’s in Westchester County. Of course, if it were in Taxachusetts, they’d name it after Ted the Swimmer.
The Tappan Zee Bridge is a good piece north of NYC. I prefer it over the George Washington when going south, to Washington, or Virginia. I-95 through the pre-Juliani Bronx was the kind of horror that inspired dystopian movies like Escape From New York.

I suspect virtually anyone would fulfill your request. The Cuomos are to NY as the Browns are to CA. The good news for us is that Jerry the Fairy is in his last term, and has no children, so the “Brown Dynasty” is coming to an end. New York isn’t nearly as lucky. Remember that old campaign slogan: “If it’s Brown, Flush it!”

I grew up in New Jersey and was driven over the George Washington Bridge many many times in my yout’. The Tappan Zee ,only a couple of times but I thought the Tappan Zee was completely amazing. And scary!
Why not call it the Corleone Causeway?
Try doing the GWB, Cross Bronx Expressway, and the NE Throughway in a semi 5 times a week. This is why Im now driving a school bus.

Everything named after abortion supporters should be renamed.
