One of the most meaningful games of the 2018 season ― not this season, but next season ― might very well be played this Sunday at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, where the woebegone 0-4 Browns face the less-woebegone New York Jets, who were expected to be 0-4 but are somehow 2-2.
Tickets were available Friday on StubHub, the resale site, for as low as $12, down from $15 earlier this week. Face value of full-price tickets on the Cleveland Browns' ticket site is $40 minimum. Tickets to the game are available on the NFLs official resale site, run by Ticketmaster, for as low as $17.
In sharp sports contrast, standing-room-only tickets were selling for a minimum of $88 for the American League division series game between the Cleveland Indians and the New York Yankees on Friday night at Progressive Field in Cleveland, a mile from FirstEnergy Stadium.

$12 today, $8 soon
and dropping!
WINNING! more and more WINNING!
Americans do NOT want to be insulted when they go to a ball game
and we sure as Hell don’t wanna pay for it!
$12? Nope... gotta be paid more than that (won’t even cover gas money).
Don’t care, won’t go even if they make it free.
If I wanna see brown jets, I’ll drink the water in India.
I won’t go even if they pay me $12.
Thanks, but I’m going to the range ...
They could pay me and I would not go. I’m done with the NFL.
I’ll stick with Cochise Conty AZ, HS football.
They would have to pay ME to go or watch and it would cost a lot...one football player worth.
No mo NFL.
Sadly, all too many are willing to pay top dollar for a few hours of entertainment.
That’s $10,012 too much.
IOW, pay me $10,000, paid r/t airline tickets, paid hotel room, paid rental car, paid food and I’ll sit in a seat.
All for just $10,000 plus expenses. Yeah, a bit more than the $200 a day plus expenses Jim Rockford wanted.
[ Pretty soon the NFL will be on its knees begging people to come see their games. ]
Sorta like the liberal newspapers were doing way back in 1999. They were begging door-to-door to subscribe. Never have and especially nowadays, never will.
They could buy me a new bump-fire stock, but I wouldn’t go.
You’d have to pay me more than $12.
(But It’s Browns-Jets)
WOW ! Still allowing that bigotry (BROWNS) /sarc
Hmmm... The Brown-Jet game. That’s about fit for the NFL.
no nfl whatsoever until they get their act together
So, are they planning on paying Skid Row denizens, $12 to be fans for this game?(sarcasm!)
