Last Sunday in Las Vegas, Stephen Paddock turned his guns on a country music concert, killing 59, including himself, and wounding more than 500. The mass murder was beyond horrific, an act of pure evil as President Trump said, but it easily could have been worse in several ways.

I was impressed by the way he framed the issue.
Drawn & quartered sounds like a more appropriate method for him to be to death. They can ride on the backs of the horses commanding them to walk slowly, and stopping every now and then for them to enjoy the screams of agony by Hassan.

I would not like to see President Trump interfere in this individual case, because that intervention would be inappropriate. However, I would like to see him expedite/fast-track all federal death penalty administration. Death rows need to be cleaned out - in a permanent manner.
Trump has only fired his own loyalists so far. We keep saying he should do this and that and it goes no further. Hassan should have his death warrant signed and put in his wheel chair in front of a firing squad. But this Army that allowed him to carry out his dirty work under Obama also let Lt Rappone slide through West Point while telling everyone he is a communist and cursing his chain of command. Why is he still commanding a platoon of heroic young Infantry soldiers? Nothing has changed.
You know what would be worse? Let’s hear from this expert:
“Our diversity, not only in our Army, but in our country, is a strength. And as horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think thats worse.” CSA GEN George Casey on Diversity after the Ft Hood shooting- 8 NOV 2008
So many “leaders” are LOSERS. Pa.

And as I said before Trump took office, he should have fired every three and four star officer in the military because of lunacy just like that. I did a full career as an Army Officer and retired in 94. This Army is nothing at all like the Army I served in and make most of us ashamed of it on a daily basis.
