One thing is for certain, Paddock could not simultaneously be “radicalized” and his actions “not terrorism” unless he wasn’t the shooter. Otherwise his actions were by definition terrorism.

The video the terrorist group that showed footage of Caesar’s Palace, the Bellagio Hotel and other icons from the casino row on South Las Vegas Boulevard.
Though the footage has been determined to be from 2015, authorities deemed the threat credible - particularly in the wake of the Manchester Arena massacre, and as the then coming Memorial Day holiday weekend which was expected to bring big crowds to The Strip.
‘I think anytime somebody goes on the internet and makes a threat that they’re going to conduct a lone-wolf or any type of attack, it’s our responsibility to view it as a credible threat,’ Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Capt. Christopher Darcy, who heads the Southern Nevada Counter-Terrorism Center, told the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
How do they know he targeted those fuel tanks? He may have simply overshot the crowd.

Exactly... There is *still* nothing new in this case, yet day after day we're seeing "bombshells" and "Breaking News Alerts" all over the internet, and on Fox News (I didn't bother to check CNN and MSNBC).
I sure hope there WILL BE something new in this case soon, and that we will finally learn the monster's motive. One question: Is there going to be an autopsy on Paddock? Can a doc do any kind of analysis on what's left of his brain?

This guy is either ISIS or ISIS inspired. He didn’t just snap and he followed the Jihadi playbook to T. Multiple dry runs including Lollapalloza and another festival at the same Vegas location in September. Sends the girlfriend away before the attacks. Targets a Conservative leaning crowd. ISIS has tripled down on this guy, the Feds just refuse to admit it.
Hypothesis:
Given there is a distinct lack of publication of any media/content the perpetrator wrote or possessed, vague references to him leading a secret life, this singular tantalizing comment from the sheriff, and Trump’s obtuse & cryptic “calm before the storm” comment in conjunction with military leaders, plus ISIS “tripling down” on claiming they’d radicalized him ...
... I’m wondering if there _is_ a Jihadist connection & motive here, and it’s being kept under extremely tight wraps pending a massive military retaliation intended to destroy ISIS completely.
I’d wager the Sheriff believes the Feds are trying to stonewall and hide salient facts and feels the need to defend himself from their errors/lapses/turning a blind eye.....
