Uproxx ^ | 10/4/2017 | Kimberly Ricci

Posted on 10/06/2017 5:09:48 AM PDT by sevinufnine

Danley met Paddock in Vegas. From 2010-2013, Danley worked at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa which Paddock frequented as a high-stakes gambler. In 2015 Danley divorced her husband of 25 yrs. (Geary Danley) while specifying one of Paddock’s homes as her address. One Atlantis employee said, “Then she was just gone one day … I asked some fellow workers and they said she went off with Stephen.”

Plenty of desert for isolated, long range practice in NV.

My thought is that it might be profitable to check the desert around mesquite for a site with 100+ yard elevation, overlooking a flat area 276-500 yards away that has been pummeled with gunfire...

I’m so lucky to be poor, the gold diggers have no interest in me! :>)

I agree....lotsa missing pieces....that they don't want us to know. I'm sure that plenty of people are stepping up.

I had a couple questions.

Did Stephen take her to the airport for her "surprise" trip? Pictures could be revealing. If he didn't, why not?

Wonder how much money she really has.

I believe it was the end of the relationship and she knew it. I think she's a prolific liar.

There are cameras everywhere these days. The FBI must have a slew of them by now.

Marilou was a gold digger pure and simple; that’s very obvious. She ran across a moneyed gambler in the casino world, latched on to him and dumped her husband( he evidently is an idiot also). Marilou could and did overlook a lot of weird behavior because the pay/payoff was good. Of course she didn’t see anything unusual...yeah right. Paddock had to practice/sight in his firearms somewhere; where and when? The eotechs, scopes, etc had to be sighted. Running a bump stock seamlessly takes some practice. The videos indicate familiarity and practice to me.(if he was even the shooter) There are lots of unanswered questions and I don’t believe much of what the FBI and LVMPD says. They are in a coverup/obstruct mode as always. The FBI has shown their true colors in many incidents during the bammy, holder, lynch, comey era. Nothing to see here...move along. Truth will never see the light of day...

I bet all his money is in either joint real estate deals, irrevocable trusts...or everyone has been given a wad...just like his girlfriend. And I’ll bet she has a lot more than that....all stashed someplace. Is that why she came back? Safety deposit box? Mattress?

“That article was a big bunch of nothing clickbait.”

Yup, that got nearly 100 posts. The article wasn’t what I was interested in so much, but the opinions of Freepers who clearly are reading up or watching news reports about this lady.

“It is possible she is the mastermind.”

That’s been circulating in my mind. Or simply that she knew. Or that she wanted to bilk him out of as much $$ as she could and be rid of him. As I mentioned in a way, earlier post, there is no way to confirm he truly sent her, or whether she asked to go. She could have told her family anything she pleased and no one is alive to confirm or deny her story.

“She was an adult divorced woman.”

OH! Forgot to mention. From what I have read she wasn’t divorced when she left her husband for Paddock. Who knows though...

This is just like a soap opera. We could miss 6 months of this program and take up later right where we left off - without missing any of the plot... In six months, MAYBE there will be NEW NEWS!

There is an Atlantis in Reno, also.

He owned a house on the west side of Reno in a very nice neighborhood—on Del Webb.

He bought her a brand new Hundai Tucson on 8-1-2017 at Lithia Hundai in Reno & wrote a check for $14,411.XX She wanted a LEXUS, but he refused to pay another $10,000 for basically the same car. Sales woman spent more than 4 hours with them while they decided & SHE test drove the car. Car is maroon/copper in color. Local TV showed the copy of the check he wrote —exactly 2 months before the shooting.

“”Told the hairdresser (female barber) that he was sending girlfriend to the Phillipines. The girlfriend was with him in the barbershop.””

You folks need to take a break...I go to the barber shop with my husband and I sit and read. I have no idea what they talk about when he’s getting his hair cut. Barber chairs are normally not right on top of the waiting area.

I believe the point is, if it was such a “surprise” you think he’s not blabber about it while she was anywhere around. Much less in the barber shop.

Same time that he told his hairdresser that he was sending her to the Phillipines.

Were they just dumping her old car for some reason?

Wasn't this the same time that she was moving out and packed her car...even tying some stuff on the roof?

We need a little timeline here.

This is another thing. I’m NOT an active shooter, so I wouldn’t know.

But I’ve seen columns by people who are, and they say that for someone who isn’t extremely well practiced, it is NOT “shooting fish in a barrel” especially from that angle and distance. That requires a great deal of skill, and the weapons are not easy weapons to use for an amateur.

One explanation was that he WAS an amateur, and that’s why he had so many guns, so that he could just switch out when one jammed.

The bipod is stupid. You don’t use a bipod, normally, to fire downward. It’s to stabilize so the barrel doesn’t drop-—but again, this is what I’m told.

None of the pieces of the actual firing add up, according to the firearms people I talk to.

Unless he really had been practicing for a long time and kept that as secret as the rest of his life. Who knows? I’m no expert either, so I cannot speak as one regarding the bipod and all that.

Military people are highly suspicious, saying this kind of stuff takes years of training.
