We need a national conversation on abortion. We need reasonable, sensible restrictions on abortions. Democrats are beholden to the abortion lobby. See, I can play this game too.

Reports say that he had purchased more than 30 guns in the last year. Passed the background check on all of them. However, this did not raise any red flags with those in charge of those background checks?

So what we have here is the government not doing their job as usual and they want MORE laws?

EFF THEM!!

Rest assured the Democrats will try to pad the bill with every wet dream anti-gun law they have had for the last 60 years, even things having nothing to do with bump stocks.

It won’t stop anything

But this ban is a fait accompli

The NRA is clambering to get behind the ban as well.

Attach it to the 20 week abortion limit bill and see how the Democrats feel about actually saving lives.

I know nobody agrees with me, but I have no issue with giving up bump stocks.

For nothing in return.

They are completely useless and without any value.

And I think it’s ludicrous to have a fight over them, it just makes our side APPEAR irrational.

Because anyone who would defend them IS, IS irrational.

IMHO.

Ban these suckers, and no one is going to die from a gun for a year

Sounds like the Dems had this little script - and add in the Suppressors too - already prewritten and sitting in their “Open In Case of Mass Shooting” file cabinet.

I am very concerned by this from the “we have to do something” crowd. Even many FReepers and the freaking NRA are willing to go along.

IT IS A TRAP AND YOU WILL BE SORRY.

“...Now, the GOP is considering partnering up with Democrats to ban bump stocks ...”

Well, it makes sense, you see, because of how the Democrats “partnered up” with the GOP to repeal obamacare, and... oh ... wait a minute ... Never mind.

Damned RINO f-tards couldn’t roll over fast enough, could they.

Now, would it have made a difference if everyone at that concert had been armed? Fact: none whatsoever. That’s one of the reasons why it was chosen as a target. Fact: that group of God and Country lovin’ conservatives were fish in a barrel, twenty thousand plus strong in number, shoulder to shoulder in an open-air venue. Conjecture: they were collateral damage on the Globalist’s altar. Purpose: cause enough outrage at our vulnerability to cause/force a knee-jerk reaction - we’ve gotta do something!

I stopped trying to be "reasonable" long ago. This stuff isn't difficult to decode:

BtD: "You want to ban bump stocks? OK, let's talk. What will you offer in return? Fund the Border Wall? Evict all illegal aliens? Defund Planned Parenthood? List the ACLU, SEIU, and SPLC as terrorist organizations? What you got?"

Lib (looking confused): "Well, no. You have to give us what we want and we don't give you anything in return."

Nope. It isn't politics, it's surrender on the installment plan. Not buying it.

Knee-jerk legislation, is the best legislation.
