Hey, it appears that a 30 round magazine will empty in approx. 2 seconds while a 50 round magazine takes about 3 seconds...
Here's a clip where a fella will play a recording of a little segment of the LV shooting...The shooting starts at about the 1:28 mark...What size magazine do you think the shooter was using in that volley of bullets???
The self appointed expert claims the recording proves a bump fire stock due to the variance of the rate of fire...I didn't hear a variance of the rate of fire but did hear a variance in the sound of fire, presumably since the shooter was waving the rifle back and forth while shooting...
I thought that first round of firing was 100 shots and he was aiming at the airplane fuel tank.
I still think the fuel tank shots might have been from the gun rising. Ever shot an automatic? Friend of mine has a license and they’re a pain to keep down unless you do short bursts. There’s video (Live Leak) of a girl killing someone firing an auto as she loses control when it goes up.

I am no expert on the latest tech but the magazines I saw in the pictures that have shown up, appeared to be double stack type. I saw no drum magazines. Had he been real serious with the equipment that they claim he had he could have fired several thousand rounds, but didn't.

The bump fire rigs are good for about half the speed of a full auto.
At the distance he was away from the stage area; I doubt that the angle he needed to 'wave' would be very great.
