There are people, even here at FR, that are ready to jump over anyone that doesn't swallow the MSM or gubmint line.
Ever since that '67 memo from the CIA, they've been working hard to pejorize alternatives to such things as the Warren Commission's "magic bullet theory."
False flag events have accelerated in the past decades, even though they've been around far, far longer. Through those more recent events we can see the brazenness of what we thought was our elected government, that has actually fallen into the hands of influences that no longer listen to the citizenry for guidance. Those PTB have trolls that would demean and ridicule anyone that dares to diverge from the accepted narrative. Beware!
We're being trained by Leftists at every turn to rely increasingly on Big Government, which one would think should be rejected out of hand on an ostensibly Conservative site such as this, but certain influences nonetheless hold great sway, with their yes-minions that cheer on their Big-brotherly comments and insults to bold true Conservatives they only presume wear tin-foil hats.
Unlike some nattering nabobs of negativism, there are many true experts among FR commenters (more in the past than now, perhaps) and it's what most people come back here for, if my twenty years of FR observation mean anything. But any interaction with such people needs to be respectful and always in search of the truth, not a clash that insults or demeans knowledgeable input from well-meaning contributors.
If there's anything that rankles folks from the older generation, it's that society has picked up a coarse, terse vein of slams and ridicule that would attempt to stand in place of reasoned conversation and debate.
IMO, we need to let FR be a place where people can feel free to say what's on their minds, especially if they're trying to advance the conversation at hand. Even if some Conservatives need more practice in their exposition, let it be practiced here, among friends! Many in the world don't seem to value such things, but I believe we can keep FR a healthier place if we always keep moving forward toward the truth, not being satisfied, couch potatoes with what the gubmint would spoon-feed us, so they can ultimately dominate and enslave us.
Aren’t control freaks an odd sort. I’m amazed that it bothers them so much when others THINK, QUESTION, ANALYZE, RESEARCH, and DISCUSS events. I’m for free thought and speech, just like our FF.
