Hillary Clinton said she’ll “keep speaking out” for gun control Wednesday on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
Clinton lamented Congressional inaction on gun control, saying, “I can’t believe that one whole political party in the greatest country on Earth is totally sold to the gun lobby and will do whatever they are ordered to do, despite the loss of life.” advertisement
The former Democratic presidential candidate criticized the fact that one of President Trump’s first actions on guns was to repeal Barack Obama’s Social Security gun ban and she claimed that the repeal allows people with mental problems to purchase guns. She said, “This makes no sense, and the vast majority of Americans, and the vast majority of gun owners know we need common-sense gun safety measures, so I’m going to keep fighting for it.”

OK, there may be a terminology aspect here.
There's a flash suppressor which all (most) AR-style weapons have at the end of the muzzle - and then there's a sound suppressor which replaces the flash suppressor and serves to muffle the report of the shot.
A sound suppressor is also referred to as a "silencer", even though they do not really make the shot silent.
