Did Las Vegas mass killer Stephen Paddock act alone?
Statements made by authorities investigating Sunday's horrific shooting are increasingly indicating they don't believe he was a "lone wolf" actor.
Both Las Vegas Sheriff Joe Lombardo and representatives from the FBI gave indications they are looking for other possible suspects.
The one named person of interest in the attack is Paddock's paramour, Marilou Danley, who was questioned by the FBI yesterday after her return from the Philippines.
In a statement released yesterday by her attorney, she denied knowledge of Paddock's plans.

With 59 confirmed dead in the attack, a new report last night from the Las Vegas Review-Journal indicates the incident could have been even more deadly.
According to their report, Paddock targeted two massive jet fuel tanks in the vicinity.
Las Vegas Strip mass murderer Stephen Paddock used his Mandalay Bay hotel room to fire bullets at jet fuel tanks Sunday night, a knowledgeable source told the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The bullets left two holes in one of two circular white tanks. One of the bullets penetrated the tank, but did not cause a fire or explosion near the Route 91 Harvest country music festival, another knowledgeable source said late Wednesday.
The tanks are roughly 1,100 feet from the concert site, where Paddock killed 58 people and wounded almost 500. Several airplane hangars belonging to prominent corporations are also near the tanks

A source knowledgeable about airport operations said jet fuel is hard to ignite and tanks like those across from Mandalay Bay have mechanisms in place to prevent fires.
Mike Boyd, a Colorado-based aviation consultant, echoed those words.
A machine gun is not going to blow up a tank of fuel, Boyd said. Jet fuel itself sitting there in a big wet pile is very hard to ignite. You have to be a very amateur terrorist to think anything like that.
Starting to think that there is either gross incompetence in this investigation or what they are finding is too politically incorrect to release.
ISIS, ANTIFA, George Soros, White Liberal Elites...??
A very wealthy Pilot ( possibly spotted wearing a pink hat at a protest) kills a bunch of people with guns?
A wealthy Pilot. Anyone else wonder about that? He could have flown into Mandalay Bay.. in theory.
40+ guns doesn’t make him an arms dealer I guess but why so many weapons in the hotel? Makes no sense.
He may have had help, but nothing that has been revealed so far about what he did has led me to believe he actually needed help to do it.
This last statement by the FBI about “across the world” etc. is really meaningful. They denied international terrorism connections within like 18 hours of the shooting, but now they are clearly emphasizing an international angle?
That means something. That was an intentional decisions to highlight the international aspect. Maybe they are trying to draw public attention away from domestic issues, or maybe they are trying to smoke someone out. I don’t know but its a strange twist, to me.
Tanks won’t explode from being shot. Myth Busters did an experiment shooting a full propane tank. It didn’t explode.
It actually makes some sense if he wanted to kill as many people as possible using those bump-stock, high-capacity mags and other similar contraptions. Those things are notoriously unreliable. If he had done any research, he would know that they are likely to jam and break, as well as the fact that barrels overheat and guns jam when shooting a lot of rounds in quick succession.
He was a rich guy, so an easy solution to that problem is just to buy a lot of guns. It looks like he staged them all over the suite, by both of the broken windows and by the doors, in order to have easy access to them. Having them all pre-loaded with high-capacity mags would make it easy for him to fire one until it was empty or jammed, and then just pick up another and keep firing.
Starting to think that there is either gross incompetence in this investigation or what they are finding is too politically incorrect to release.
“It actually makes some sense if he wanted to kill as many people as possible”
Thanks......ok, makes sense.....
“makes sense”
The scary thing is it shows he was thinking in a rational, logical way, planning this all out.
How far were those tanks from where the shooter was? We know the concert was about 3 to 400 yards away - were the tanks closer or farther? Probably farther. Hitting a single, specific target even 400 yards away, from a highly elevated position, is something you need to train to do. You also need a scope that has been properly zeroed in for that rifle. You need to know where to hold the reticle and how much to compensate for the difference in elevation and for distance. If you have a mil dot scope and practice a bit, it's not that hard. If you have only a BDC reticle on your scope it's a little harder because you have no dots above the crosshairs to adjust your shot downward - you have to guess, ie. Kentucky windage. Wonder how big those fuel tanks were? Obviously, the bigger they are the easier they are to hit.
“A wealthy Pilot”
License was expired from what is being reported and it doesn’t appear he currently owned any aircraft.
Was the Las Vegas Killer a 'Lone Wolf'? Maybe so.
I counted six or eight volleys
too many people making too many statements
This will be an extensive investigation.
It’s misleading to the public to make statements each day.
No concrete conclusions can be had at this point.
People who hang on every word are going to have a bumpy ride.
A .50 cal tracer round would do the job, I imagine. (Disclosure - I have never done or tried it!!)
