It’s your theory not you’re.

If you accept everything you’re fed from the media, congratulations, you can live in ignorant bliss.

I don’t know the entire story on this event, but neither do you.

Stephen Paddock left the two round aviation fuel containers with bullet holes during the mass shooting that killed 59 and injured hundreds — but luckily he could not penetrate the tanks, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

I hate reporters. How the heck do you "leave holes" without penetrating?

Large fuel tanks typically have multiple walls.

Or, jet fuel could not be ignited with a bullet

“This could have been another 9/11.”

Or worse.

He must have had help because no normal person could have pulled this off. Who trained him? Where did he get the information to modify his weapons? BLAH, BLAH, BLAH...

1. The internet is the largest library in the world. Anyone with a smart phone has no excuse for not being educated because they have access to a knowledge base that is unparalleled in world history. He could have learned everything he needed to know to pull this off by spending time online.

2. Digital footprint. A burner phone is all he needed to access the above mentioned data. A wireless connection at Starbux or wherever could have been used for a laptop to access the same info.

3. Training. Obviously he was proficient enough to handle weapons. There are countless miles of remote public lands in Nevada where a person can shoot all day and not be bothered by anyone and be home for dinner.

4. Weapons acquisition. Per Google, there are over 50 gun related business including gun shops, pawn shops and ranges located in Las Vegas, 47 in Reno, a several dozen in Sparks and Carson City and 10 in Pahrump. He could have acquired the guns one at a time from different shops and never visited the same store twice.

5. Getting all the gear into the room. No brainer. Gear is broken down and packed into suitcases and hauled to his room in 2 or 3 trips using a luggage dolly. Make one trip in the morning and another later at night after the shift change and no one would have seen him making multiple trips.

Anyone with a depraved mind, finances and the ability to learn on their own could have pulled this off.

The map shows the escape route. The hammer was for breaking the drywall for access to the stairwell, not the windows. The bullets broke the windows. Bet the inner wall of the suite was already holed and he was waiting to break through the second at the right time. He had block the stairway door to cut off pursuit. If he was a patsy, then the client used that escape route and the police are not talking in hopes of catching him.

Hotel stairwells of this type are fire rated, which means there was a wall of block or poured/prefab concrete between the room and the stairwell. He could not possibly hole through that wall with the hammer that we have seen in the photos. Jackhammer or hilti-gun, maybe; but not that hammer.

In the first mention of the aviation fuel angle, I didn’t notice they mentioned there were strikes on the tank, if they did there.

Your follow-up here sounds reasoned. I appreciate the mention.

Your timeline may be correct also. I haven’t seen other speculations on when he fired at the tanks. You probably have.

Did he have any tracer rounds left in his arsenal?

I’ve heard only two rounds struck the fuel tanks, which isn’t much and could have been just “spray” from his “spray and pray” bump stock attack. If the tanks were seriously targeted, more than two rounds would have struck, followed by something like a tracer to ignite the leaking Avgas.
