In late September, the United Kingdom’s Bath Spa University turned down an application by James Caspian, a psychotherapist who specializes in working with transgender people, to conduct research on gender reassignment reversals. The university deemed the subject “potentially politically incorrect.”

Caspian is hardly someone to be considered against gender change. Since 2001, Caspian has worked extensively with gender variant people and has been a trustee of a UK charity “dedicated to education about and support of transgendered, transsexual and cross-dressing individuals.”

There is a problem of depression after reassignment surgery.

The loss of testosterone can often lead to depression...this is likely the reason for much of the post SRS depression

IMO, a condition known as Autogynephilia likely accounts for many M2F patients.

Autogynephilia is defined as a male’s propensity to be sexually aroused by the thought of himself as a female. It is the paraphilia that is theorized to underlie transvestism and some forms of male-to-female (MtF) transsexualism.

Loss of testosterone can lessen the effect of Autogynephilia, leading to reduced arousal by the though of being female. Thus the patient may lose the desire that led them to seek reassignment

Some M2Fs figure this out and after the surgeries and acquisition of secondary female characteristics from estrogen therapy then switch and take testosterone to return to the mental state they had before surgery.

There is a more involved M2F surgery that is reversible... this seems a more sensible option for many IMO.

It is NOT possible to fashion a functional penis at this time...this makes for a poor result for both F2M patients and for M2F patients who wish to undo what has been done.

For F2M the best that can be done is to administer testosterone and hope for enough clitoral growth to form a small penis. [The penis and the clitoris are actually the same body part...it’s a vestigial part for the XX genotype]

Setting aside the religious aspects, clearly any person wanting to play as the opposite sex will have serious problems procreating. Procreating is what it is all about in nature. If you don't have offspring, you (or your genetic make up) don't get to continue playing.

Which segues into the next point: if gayness is supposed to be genetic, then when homosexuals don't procreate their gay gene fades away into nonexistence over generations. Yet, there are significant number of homosexuals after thousands of generations.

There was a recent study that said that some of the rise in homosexuality we are seeing is due to the female hormone birth control pill chemicals impacting fetal development.

IIRC there was a study released by a geneticist in the late 90’s or early 20’s which concluded there was no distinguishing between the genetic markers of Arabs and Jews. I think it survived in the wild for almost 24 hours before it was withdrawn and relegated to the memory hole.

It’s not genetic; it’s indoctrination or childhood abuse of some kind.

As long as there are old perverts creating younger perverts, there are going to be perverts.
