Just when you thought the Democrats couldn’t get any crazier, a new statement or policy proposal ups the ante. Rep. Filemon Vela (D-TX) is so opposed to President Trump’s border wall that he says he would personally “take a bulldozer to every inch of existing structure on the U.S.-Mexican border.”

During a committee meeting to discuss the Border Security for America Act of 2017, Rep. Filemon Vela (D-Texas) expressed his dissatisfaction with the existing fencing that separates the United States and Mexico along parts of the nearly 2,000-mile border.
“I strongly oppose Trump’s wall,” he said. “In fact, I would take a bulldozer to every inch of existing structure on the U.S.-Mexican border.”
Vela, first elected in 2012 to represent a heavily Latino district that touches the Mexican border, spoke in favor of an amendment to the bill to define the wall. His sarcastic list snatched lines from President Donald Trump’s campaign speech,es including “big and beautiful,” “see through,” “not a fence” and “has openings.”

As with most Mexican-American Democrat politicians in Texas, a goodly chunk of their families are illegals living off the largesse here in the USA.

He obviously doesn’t care about all the weapons that could even more easily get into the US. How can he claim to be against “gun control”? (answer: dems will only talk about one issue at a time in order to avoid the contradictions in their positions on different issues)

I call BS on this. It would be too much like work, so he’d have his staff do it. Except, of course, the photo op where he would be posed on a bulldozer like he actually knew how to use one.

It’s not all that surprising that Mexican politicians would be more loyal to Mexico. What is surprising are people like Paul Ryan, Kevin McCarthy, Rubio, McCain, Graham, Corker, Alexander, Murkowsky, Hoeven, Hatch, Heller and Flake.
