The Twitter universe exploded with plenty of hot takes after another white backup quarterback was signed before the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback, who infamously refused to stand for the anthem.
Dear @NFL,
Colin Kaepernick is a better quarterback than Brandon Weeden. We all know that. Let him play!
Sincerely, America

So what? Let the twitter bleeding hearts hire Krapnik.
Bring politics into your profession at your peril.
Duh.
Only friends can see my facebook page, and nobody I work with is a facebook friend. There is a reason for this.
Ah, let’s see... Kaepernick embarrassed team, he quit, he has turned down offers, and, besides, maybe these other players are better players, less risk, more promise. Who wants to hire a disrespectful, troublemaking, quitter?
LOL! I’m sorry that it makes me chuckle cause the fasctifas will just use it as more proof that the owners are racist.
Any team that hires Kaepernick is screwed. Not only would it ramp upthe protests against that team, they wouldn’t be able to release Kaepernick.
As a player and the division he brings to the team and the fan base.
Moral to the story: “Don’t s&^t where you eat”
Who knows how much money Kap wants to play backup QB or whether he’s willing to play second string at all?
Evidently not. QED.

They should start a GoFundMe collection for the poor guy.
..
Weeden was signed as a backup. There were reports that at least two teams were interested in signing Kaepernick over the summer but would not guarantee him starting roles or starter money. Kaepernick turned them both down. I don’t see him accepting the Titan’s offer under these circumstances either.
The Giants...Jets...Patriots...Bears....Rams....Redskins,etc could sign him without fear of fan blowback.IOW,teams in Rat Party strongholds.
Nashville is *not* a Rat Party stronghold.
Twitter’s kind of splody.
I suggest all these twit whiners boycott the NFL.
I have become very, very fond of apoplexy.
,,,,,, a quarterback without a team and a man without a country .
America does not need his kind .
winning !!!
I think the girlfriend plays a bigger part in his pariah status than generally reported.
