I think he/she is playing fast and loose with the statistics.
"Mass shootings" statistically defined and "mass shootings" as understood by the media or the public are different things.
To get the numbers you include gang shootings, crime, terrorist acts, domestic violence, neighborhood quarrels.
When you want to come to a conclusion, you can exclude what you want and blame it all on one group, like White men.

Since four or more victims constitutes a mass shooting in libspeak, they divide the total number of victims of all multiple shootings by 4 (1,000 victims = 250 mass shootings) and publish it as truth. Pants on fire time.

"There is a mass shooting each day, 273 mass shootings so far this year but out of 62 mass shootings over the past 35 years, white men committed 44 of them. Therefore, mass shootings are a white male problem."

Actually, it’s us who’ve been silently accepting the rage of black men. We’ve been tolerating people who do NOT believe that blacks are treated better in this country than any other on the planet. People with IQs in the 70s who consistently believe that THEY should be running things.
