I sent a letter to my congressman urging this, since my SSN will now be out there for the rest of my life. It was never supposed to be an ID number anyway. Give everyone a taxpayer ID, and if it get hacked, let them be able to change it.

So, basically, the second beast required all people small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark...

Aren’t we supposed to get new SS cards with embedded chips in 2018?....................

The gov. or some other root authority would need to maintain a private key to validate the identifiers issued to everyone else.
Individuals would have public keys, which would be validated using the gov’s private key using a one-way mathematical calculation. (hash)

Yes, it outdated.
But be cautious what you want to replace it with. Most solutions are scary close to the mark of the beast.
Biological identifiers in particular.

Long years ago I had heard that A21 called for everyone to get ‘the chip’ implanted by 2018.
Don’t know if that’s true or not, but if so it looks like they’re right on schedule.

Also, since EVERY American gets a SS number, it would be an awesome time to associate the number with official voter rolls. No number, no registration.

Just saying.
They already have my electronic fingerprint at Department of Motor Vehicles, and possibly my retina scan at same. Then they did the facial recognition photo.
Enough.

No chip or tattoo. Might do biometric, but still have to research.

That would be pointless and backward. Think about how key pairs are used by ssh.
