LAS VEGAS At least one of the rifles the gunman in the Las Vegas mass shooting had in his hotel suite was outfitted with a bump stock, a device that would enable it to fire hundreds of rounds per minute, a law enforcement official said.
Authorities on Tuesday continued looking for a motive in one of the deadliest mass shootings in the United States, scouring the personal and financial history of the gunman, Stephen Paddock, 64. The same law enforcement official said Mr. Paddock wired thousands of dollars to the Philippines and the FBI was scrutinizing the transaction.
Survivors had described the scene of carnage in vivid detail: Thousands of people screaming and running for cover at an outdoor music festival as victims fell around them on Sunday. At least 59 people were left dead and more than 520 others were injured.

I like what Rush was saying today: “The FBI can determine in an instant this guy had no terror connections yet a year and a half later still can’t determine if Trump colluded with the Russians”
Thank God he wasn’t a rifleman.
According to many comments in another thread, those bumpy stocks make rifles accurate enough to hit running, scattering targets at 500 yards. ;-)
Hundreds of rounds per minute? This rifle is belt fed?
The murderer also had a rifle with a regular stock and long range scope. A bolt action small bore with a scope could have been as bad or worse with that kind of distance making victims unaware of what was going on.
The daily Narrative.
No doubt the Narrative has been pre-planned for the next several days with information leaks to the media each day to support it.
Wonder what will be the next point of emphasis. Maybe in coming days highlight currency transfers and cash transactions and the media and politicos will publish supporting pieces to push for greater government regulation of currency transfers and further restricting use of cash.
BS
Exactly. One shot, take out one target. People around aware, but not across the venue. Repeat to different areas. No rapid fire to alert anyone, just one by drops.
So much for the lone wolf narrate it appears.
Which is proof Rush Limbaugh reads FR -- that exact same statement was posted here on FR yesterday by numerous posters.
They are showing pictures of the room now and people can see that he left a note. They know the motive.
That is a good statement. It is assured, he had accomplices.
An AR-15 "pops" like a 22.
Here we go with blaming AR-15's again. Really sick of the media and their obsession with AR-15's.
They already have their talking points fed to them compliments of the Democrat Party. Just listen to the news, they're already repeating the same points on CNNNBCMSNBCABCCBS ETC..
I do not care if people like my rihts or not, whether it is to smoke pot, have a gun, have sex in some states with a 16 year old, we are not going to blame our rights and the victims’ rights for this!
It is irrelevant.
What needs investigation is this dude and his leftist affiliations and seditious mindset against the rights of concert goers. Period!
Savage also went on a rant against slide fire. So now we are going to ban a shooting technique lie the Chinese made Tai Chi illegal for 300 years?
Screw these idiots.
Savage also went on a rant against silencers saying their only use is to murder perople. Rwally?, Idiot. A criminal can make one with a plastic bottle and toilet paper. People at indorr range , especially inconvenienced women, would tremendously benefit from learning to shoot and using silencers.
I am sick of these idiot pundits who think they know it all and do not ask us wuestions. They are just as bad as liberals.
Right. If he had been, he would have picked his shots and done a whole lot more damage.
Really a AR pops like a 22rf and a bump stock is not capable of the rate of fire heard.
Please inform us how you know these things.
