EXACTLY my question. I mean was he the ONLY one staying on the 32nd floor? Didn't anyone outside the hotel hear SOMETHING that would have identified WHERE he was?? Just seems odd to me.. lots of questions.
First the glass and then the guns. There had to be people around that floor or next that heard where it came from!

Carry those thoughts forward. When you hear a window break do you know it was a window breaking and not some other crashing sound. When you hear a window break do you automatically think "sniper?" If you hear a window break do you immediately want to call 911 or the hotel front desk to say you heard a odd noise? Would the hotel desk call 911 or try to find a maintenance man on-call at night to go check out the sound? In any case it is all over before anyone acts.
Remember even before Pearl Harbor a ship sank a mini sub but nobody believed it was the precursor to World War Two.
