Yep. The gun grabbers don’t understand this. What it boils down to is if you outlaw things, someone will get something that isn’t outlawed and use that to exert their will over people who don’t have any recourse.
They could outlaw guns and all metal blades, and someone would use a baseball bat. So they outlaw baseball bats, and someone uses a stick from a tree, so they outlaw all carrying of sticks, so someone uses (insert nearly anything here)
It is the biggest, stupidest, waste of time, energy, and oxygen, and it doesn’t work.
So...instead of enforcing the law, catching people who break the law and punishing them severely enough to make others worry about breaking the law, they restrict or ban the sales of acid.
Oh, yeah. That will work. Of course, they will have to insert some kind of bureaucracy in place to make sure there is some kind of stupid registry and the right paperwork or computer system in place, someone will have to monitor and enforce this, industries that have new requirements to meet will have their costs go up, and will become non-competitive with countries like China that either don’t have a problem where people are throwing acid in other people’s faces, or could care less if they did.
What a bunch of morons. And we aren’t far behind.
