Americans need to carry scoped rifles. If a sniper opens fire, a rifleman (or woman) can return fire to pin him down. That would probably have saved many lives and those unfortunate people injured in this latest shooting.

How about ban full automatic weapons in trade for approving hearing protection legislation. Call it a win-win. Besides, as another FReeper pointed out earlier today, only 175K people have legal permits for full automatic guns so this impact, while troubling vis-a-vis the constitution, it is minimal.

Permit me to speculate on motive. This was an attack on country western fans. Let’s look at them. They are all races but predominately white. Politically I think they are conservative as a general rule— no all but predominately conservative.They are predominately Trump voters=— not all but predominately and symbolically. They were attacked , The level of premeditation is beyond any question. If you are going to make an anti Trump statement what more representative group than country western Americans.
I am convinced the motive has been known for hours. No one goes to these lengths to commit suicide and shoot hundred of innocent people to die with a mystery motive. The motive is explosive and it is being covered up,in my opinion.

Good points. As long as they cover up the motive we are free to speculate and they deserve it. There is no way in hell that the authorities don’t know the motive and have known it for several hours. Ill say this with assurance. The FBI is a bunch of liars. They are deep state thugs and lied about Waco and flight 800, Benghazi, wire tazpping and they lie more than they tell the truth.
