"How did a guy get full auto weapons? They are anything but cheap to obtain."

That's assuming that he obtained them legally. It's hard to know at this point but this is one of the two things I'm interested in knowing. The other being how did he get the 10 + guns and ammo into his room (being reported he checked in and didn't leave). No one in as busy a hotel as that noticed that he was bringing that up to his room?

As far as obtaining them, he's 64 which means its even possible that he owned full autos before the 1986 gun laws went into effect. Who knows at this point....

Was wondering about the logistics on this as well, and if it could have/should have been noticed what he was carrying up to the room. 10 minutes (?) of emptying magazines would suggest a lot of heavy lead was brought up to the room. 1- 2 suitcases on one of those hotel luggage carriers? Would also assume 1- 3 long guns with the barrel disassembled fitting into a standard suitcase?

Sick bastard that did this...

I would think they would be easy to transport them inconspicuously in a golf-club bag.

I asked this very question on another message thread here. How did the shooter manage to get all that weaponry into that hotel room without rousing suspicions from the bellhops or cleaning staff? Is moving those weapons to the room an inside job? The Mandalay Bay resort management have a lot of very disturbing questions that need answering.

In his suitcases. It isn’t like he carried them in while they were hanging from his shoulder. Hell, it’d be easy to do so if they were in pieces, wrapped in clothing (to avoid rattling). Better yet if he got his own suitcase cart from the hotel - then no one would even know how heavy his bags were.
