An active shooter fired at an outdoor concert crowd in Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Casino area. At least 50 people died and 400 were injured in the shooting, that was later claimed by ISIS. The roads leading to the Vegas strip were shut by the police. The gunman was shot down at the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel. The Nevada sheriff identified Stephen Paddock as the suspected gunman in Las Vegas shootout.
Islamic State has claimed responsibility for a shooting that killed at least 50 people and wounded over 400 in Las Vegas early on Monday, and said the attacker had converted to Islam a few months ago.
“The Las Vegas attack was carried out by a soldier of the Islamic State and he carried it out in response to calls to target states of the coalition,” the group’s news agency Amaq said in reference to the US-led coalition fighting the group in the Middle East.

ISIS does NOT claim every one. They only claim the ones where they’ve been involved. If you have proof to the contrary, please post it.

Anything planned as well as this tyrant planned it, would have covered his tracks, his true purpose in doing it, beforehand.

Given how well planned things seem to have been—observation cameras mounted in the hall were a very nice touch—your first suggestion does seem something that would need to be ruled out. Unfortunately, I’m not sure that I trust the government to rule it out.

BLM and Islam are joined at the hip; have been since Ferguson or earlier. Not enough people are connecting the dots.

A bro-country concert in Vegas is hardly the abode of rock-ribbed conservatism. Just a bunch of young people enjoying themselves, probably not giving two thoughts about politics.
On one hand, no ISIS aren’t very truth oriented people. On the other hand “the authorities” act very quickly to try and push real jihadis under the rug. It’s going to be a race to uncover whether he really did convert to Islam before the evidence gets buried.
All that said, apropos of nothing, feels more like another Bernie supporter.
