Not necessarily, With the NFL Commissioner Goodell coming out today defending the players free speech for these anti-American protests demonstrates how he is lying about this issue.

This is not a free speech issue as the government is not telling these players then cannot exorcise free speech. The NFL, as a private organization, can have their own rules and do. They’ve allowed these players to undermine their rules and then the Commissioner lies about it. You can’t convince me, the NFL with all their lawyers, don’t understand this.

If the NFL is complicit in politically advancing the Alinsky narrative, BLM, to help divide us by race, then yes, their anti-trust status should be looked at. With Goodell lying and the owners not even looking at firing him for this mess, after the massive backlash, tells me the NFL has gone full political leftist.

A case could be made it is to undermine our current President. The good thing is our President blew it all up by calling them out and now American Patriots of all colors have come to defend our national anthem and flag and for all they stand for.

No offense, but this is just idiotic. The idea that political partisanship should have anything to do with the merits of a legal case is preposterous, and is typical of what you hear from the left in this country.

This is like saying that supermarket chains can engage in collusion to fix prices on the products they sell, as long as they fly American flags and give lip service to "unifying" the American people.

It’s not about free speech. If a player were to make an anti-abortion pretest, or anti-gay marriage protest, or a protest for men and women only bathrooms, he would be silenced and fined. It’s only about free speech approved by the league.
