General Hossein Salami, the Deputy Chief Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), said that Iran would be better off and more powerful without the 2015 nuclear agreement, adding that U.S. President Donald Trump can in no way pressure Iran through his threats to scrap the deal.
We have not built our life on the basis of interaction with the U.S., as the life of the Iranian nation is independent from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Salami said on Thursday, according to the semiofficial Fars news agency.
If you intend to abort the deal, youd better know that we pray God for this, because we would make better progress without the JCPOA, he continued.
Salami further said that the U.S. has no place among the geopolitical realities of the world today, adding, This is what we believe and we live with it.
The nuclear deal might be your only option, but it is no option for us at all, he added, urging Trump to focus on the huge crises that his nation is grappling with instead of starting new crises all over the world.

Your wish is my command. Goat******.
OK, return the Obama cash muzzies
Why am suddenly hungry for cold meat on rye bread with mustard?
There is another point here, though. To analogize with the car scene in The Godfather where Vito Corleone and Tom Hagen are discussing the previous scene of the five families' meeting, Kim is Tartaglia and Rouhani is Barzini; Kim is "a pimp" and Iran is using him to distract us from their nuclear success, which will lead to a much more bothersome situation worldwide.
Exactly. Send back those pallet loads of cash.
Hey salami salami Bologna....give our billions back....
Hossein, that reverse psychology thingy may work for some shop keepers at the Grand Bazaar . . . . .
Oh yeah right ...since they already got the $170 billion from Hussein Obama. Still fine with me - it’s a stupid deal.
The Deal between Iran and Obama/Kerry ?
Anyone else ever wonder, how was it that we sent a planeload of cash, actual cash/currency, from various countries, to Iran??
Even if, for sake of argument, we say that we owed Iran all this money as part of the deal, why was it send in cash? Why didn’t we do some sort of electronic transfer of funds, into the treasury of Iran???
How do we know that the cash got deposited into the treasury of Iran?/
How much of that untraceable cash was skimmed off, by the truck drivers and forklift drivers who met the plane at the airport?
And, why didn’t the media scrutinize that cash shipment? Was it because it happened under Obama?? And the apologists for Obama in the media, thought nothing of a plane full of cash being used to pay what we owed as part of the Iran deal?
It was done in cash because Obama couldn’t do it legally through normal financial channels.
Very interesting.
So then, this prompts more questions, if the media could do some investigative reporting. If Obama couldn’t do it legally through normal financial channels, why didn’t this prompt any questioning from the media??
And I know there’s no way to ever know for sure, but, I question, whether all of the cash made it to the bank account of the nation of Iran.
It also brings up the question of why no one in Congress raised hell about it.
And Colonel Baloney.
Treasury Department spokeswoman Dawn Selak said in a statement late Tuesday that the cash payments were necessary because of the "effectiveness of U.S. and international sanctions," which isolated Iran from the international finance system.

Where did all that money come from? Soros? How did obama get to do it? It had to have left some kind of paper trail?
Where is the interest from all this cash from over the years of holding it?
