The United States will remove most diplomatic staff from its embassy in Cuba as part of a major withdrawal of personnel following mysterious ‘sonic’ attacks, it was reported on Thursday.
The Trump administration decided to undertake preparations for a large-scale withdrawal after Washington did not come away convinced that the Cuban government was doing everything it could to protect American diplomats in Havana, CBS News reported.
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson met this week with his Cuban counterpart, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez at the State Department in Washington.
The meeting apparently did little to sway the administration from its original plan to call back most of its diplomatic staff after 21 reported incidents of diplomats and their families experiencing symptoms ranging from headaches, nausea, hearing loss, balance issues, and cognitive impairment.
The Cuban government apparently asked for the meeting between Tillerson and Rodriguez.
A statement released by the Cuban government about the meeting includes a denial that the attacks even took place.

Well, we realize it was just an accident when our staff was hurt. We actually intended for this missile to wind up 75 miles east of Nassau. This was just an accident too. Hey, mistakes happen.

when did Cuba get so sophisticated? If the damage is irreversible, imagine those it was tested on and where they are buried. Korea? Siberia?

So, at what point does this become an act of war?
There is something about this story that doesn't make sense to me... and in one of the articles, it says that some have brain damage. So here is the question... if what is going on is so serious, why is anyone left behind at all? It would be silly to think they are immune... do they believe the cause of the problem has stopped? Or have they moved the remaining ones to a different building? Something doesn't make sense....
This whole situation is odd. Very odd.
Cuba is a proxy for advanced Russian technology...IMHO...and remember, there have been demonstrations of similar technologies on American soil some time ago.
