The players’ “message” — the reason for their “protest” — isn’t “lost” at all to the fans and other respectable Americans. Their message is loud and clear — you might even say it’s “black and white”.

They can't have it BOTH ways. You can't disrespect the flag and country during the National Anthem, by kneeling and then claim, like Lockhart does, "such actions are not a protest against the anthem or the flag...". WTF?!
So which is it, Joe? It shouldn't take a true patriot more than a millisecond to know that standing at attention, with your hand over your heart, facing the flag and not talking during the National Anthem, is the only logical option the NFL has? Joe, you hesitate? Again which is it?
