NO WOLF HAS EVER ATTACKED A HUMAN... Yeah. That's usually qualified by "documented attack", a somewhat ambiguous term, but to the best of my knowledge, wolves can't write.

Wolves in Europe have been living with humans for tens of thousands and will attack vulnerable humans when they can. When the Cathedral of Notre Dame was being built onde of the major causes of death for the builders was attack by wolves.
