I'm betting no one in the board rooms has the guts to stand up to the race pimps. They would rather lose their jobs than run the risk of being labeled racist.
They fear being labeled a "Racist" a lot than they fear being labeled "un-patriotic".
They will hold their ground even if they lose everything. They are more in fear of the players and the MSM than they are of the fans.
Some are saying that the Federal Globalists co-opted the NFL during the Obama Administration to be one of their major propaganda arms.
Govt threatened to go balls to wall investigations brain injuries, crooked business dealings and other chicanery if they did not agree to let them put forth the anti-gun/Patriotic - proGlobalist line.
The timeline for that hypothesis seems to check out. The owners and NFL administrators caved.... and kept the money machine going.
