Alabama voters today pick a Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate, choosing between former state Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore and Sen. Luther Strange.
Today's winner advances to face Democratic nominee Doug Jones on Dec. 12 to fill the Senate seat Jeff Sessions left to become President Trump's attorney general. Strange has held the seat on an interim basis since accepting the appointment by former Gov. Robert Bentley in February.
Huge victory for the President. Chess ain’t beanbag.
Went to Drudge to find results. Absolutely nothing there about the election.
GREAT NEWS!!! Roy Moore is a good guy..even though President Trump went with Strange(I forgive the President for this minor boo boo) Moore still spoke very highly of President Trump and I know that President Trump will support Moore now that he has won
I saw a poll today showing Moore would defeat Jones by 25 points..piece of cake :-)
But she has another one coming in the day? :(

Trump tried to go along with Yertle the Turtle’s pick, RINO Strange. But I’m sure Trump is very happy with Moore’s landslide victory. Moore is unabashedly pro Trump agenda.

I’m glad that Moore won, but I hope to God he will not be as disappointing as Jeff Sessions has been.
It won’t matter in Alabama. He can call for banning sodomy all he wants there and still win.
The concern is that he’s a self-aggrandizing publicity hound, and I don’t know what he’s capable of. Like, would be torpedo a military budget if it included healthcare benefits he found immoral?
